The Sunday Scoop 3-2-1 Linky

I'm excited to link up with The Teaching Trio for the first time for their new linky, The Sunday Scoop!

Here we go!

My have to do's for Sunday don't often change. Today is always all about lesson plans and grading papers, but I'm celebrating 1,500 likes and growing on my Facebook page today and I'm giving away my top 10. Well, when I committed to that, I failed to realize that some of those items in the top 10 need MAJOR makeovers. I got three of them done yesterday but have two more that I need to update before I give them away today. It's going to be busy, busy, busy!

My hope to do's link together nicely with my have to do's. I'd LOVE to get ahead on my lesson plans. I'm not good at last minute stuff. We had a really busy week chock full of meetings and a back to school night last week so I had zero time to get ahead. This week, I hope to do that so that I can get in to the pattern of doing that again. Also, I created tons of back to school items this week and I'd really like to put them together to make a pack that I can post on TpT. It's amazing how you can have plenty created, but it's prepping it for TpT that takes the longest! I probably have 100 items that I could post if not for the need for a cute cover, a note from me, TOUs, credit pages, etc!

My happy to do's apply to every day! I am always happy to put everything aside for a good snuggle with the hubby or either one of my fluffy cats. I never neglect the ones that I love the most!

Thank you for stopping by! Happy Sunday, everyone! Feel free to head over to my Facebook for some random trivia and giveaways today if you can fit them in to your busy schedules!

    1. Haha! My husband doesn't know how I can work from 5pm to midnight every night and still have more to last me the entire weekend. I just have so many ideas flowing, I don't know how to make them stop! Thanks so much for stopping by!

    1. Good luck! Maybe next Sunday we'll both be able to leave lesson plans off of our have-to lists! :-)

  4. So true! It takes just as long to make a product TPT-ready as it does just to create the activity to use in your classroom! Hopefully you have fewer meetings this week!

    1. So far, so good! Not less meetings, but shorter ones, and we can certainly call that improvement!

  6. I'm with you, it seems to take me so long to get products TPT ready, post them, pin them, blog about them...the list goes on. It's almost a longer process than creating the product was in the first place. One thing that's helped is using a product template that already has the note, TOU, and credits ready to go. Thanks for linking up!

    1. I started doing a template too and I've finally broke down and got Adobe Pro, which is saving me tons of time! Thanks for a great linky!

  7. I'm so impressed that you're already trying to get ahead on plans! I said yesterday that I would start on next week's plans, and I still haven't. Maybe tomorrow, but I'll probably be finalizing them when Monday rolls around...
